Drawing from the philosophical thought Marina Garces and Rebecca Solnit, it posits darkness not as absence but as fertile terrain; a space where oppressive systems are dismantled and new futures seeded through solidarity. Progress here is nonlinear: a daily practice of refusal and creation, forged in communities rather than handed down. It demands we abandon paralysis and embrace our agency as co-architects of history, merging critique with care to transcend despair and utopia alike. The light sought is not found but made—through friction, labor, and the audacity to rebuild from margins inward. Crisis becomes a call to iterative participation, where hope is neither weapon nor shield but the work itself. Here, the future is not a destination; it is a relentless, collaborative practice, unfolding in the dark, one defiant step at a time.
